Did you know that over the last two years, by God’s grace, the Denver Eagles has been able to bless families in need with over $10000 to help with medical and family expenses while they have faced difficult trials? These funds were raised at our Annual Alumni Basketball Game and Silent Auction. This Saturday’s event (December 16) will help replenish our Benevolence Fund and keep us prepared to respond quickly to needs within our Eagles community as the Lord presents them.
It promises to be a fun-filled evening with alumni reunions, exciting competition and shootouts, yummy food, and a unique shopping opportunity. Here is a quick preview of some of the items you will find at the Silent Auction:
Frisco Tubing Package
Granny Smith’s Pies
Loveland Ski Passes
Gourmet Coffee Beans
Lone Tree Country Club Golf Package
Carpet Cleaning Voucher
Handcrafted Arts and Crafts
We are looking forward to seeing you at Arvada K-8 School at 5 pm and enjoying the fellowship of the Denver Eagles community and friends.
We are just ONE WEEK AWAY from our Annual Alumni Basketball Games and Charity Fundraiser! This year’s event will be held at 5 pm on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Arvada K-8 School. The GAME TIMES are set for 5:00, 6:15 and 7:30!
This is an event for ALL current and former Eagles athletes and families. We encourage our volleyball, soccer, baseball and cross-country families, as well as the basketball families, to attend and participate. In addition to the alumni basketball games, there are shooting contests which are open to anyone in attendance, a Silent Auction, and a concession stand serving dinner and snacks. This is a wonderful opportunity to fellowship with other Eagles families and celebrate God’s faithfulness to our teams and athletes.
Funds raised at this event are used to help families or friends associated with Denver Eagles who are facing financial challenges due to medical or other hardships. Over the past two years we have raised over $10,000 to help two such families.
Please help us build this fund for 2017 by
- attending the game and/or
- participating in the shooting contests and/or
- providing an item for the silent auction or asking a business to donate and item or service and/or
- making a tax-deductible donation to Denver Eagles designated for the Benevolence Fund.
Please contact Cindy Arsenault (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have an item or service to donate to the Silent Auction. If you wish to make a donation, you can mail a check to:

Dear Eagles Families and Fans,
On December 16 Denver Eagles will host our Annual Alumni Basketball Game and Charity Fundraiser at Arvada K-8 School. Funds raised at this event are used to help families or friends associated with Denver Eagles who are facing financial challenges due to medical or other hardships. Over the last two years we have been able to raise over $10,000 to help two such families.
Praise God that this year we do not have a specific family in need. However, as Joseph planned ahead for his people in Genesis, so we would like to have funds set aside to help families with needs as they arise. You can help us build this fund in four ways:
1) attend the game
2) participate in the half time shooting contests
3) provide an item for the silent auction or ask a business to donate an item or service
4) make a donation to Denver Eagles designated for the Benevolence Fund.
Please contact Cindy Arsenault (email@example.com) if you have an item or service to donate to the Silent Auction. If you wish to make a donation, you can mail a check PAYABLE TO DENVER EAGLES to

We look forward to seeing you there.
