Annual Alumni Games

Our annual Denver Eagles Alumni Event will be held at Colorado Christian University on December 20th. This year’s event will feature men alumni vs. men alumni game at 4:30 p.m. and the winner playing the boy’s varsity team at 7:30 p.m. The women alumni will play at 6:00 p.m.

Registration fee is $ 10 for alumni. Registration link is now posted on the www.DenverEagles.org website.

JV/Varsity Basketball Starts Monday!

The 2010-2011 Denver Eagles High School Basketball season is about to begin! Our first practice and parent’s meeting is this MONDAY, 15-Nov, at Gold Crown Field House. Girls start at 5:00 p.m and Boys starts at 7:00 p.m.

Denver Eagles Varsity Basketball Teams Top Ranked

HSLive365, the leading competitive Christian home school athletics news website, released it’s pre-season high school basketball rankings.

Denver Eagles Boys Varsity Basketball team is ranked 23rd in the nation. Denver Eagles Girls Varsity Basketball is ranked 20th in the nation.

HSLive365 Editors conducted 20 coaches interviews, conducted a coaches poll, fan poll, factored in the final 2010 MaxPreps rankings and studied results from the 2010 National and Regional Tournaments to determine the 2010 Pre-Season Rankings. Approximatley 100 Christian home school boys and girls teams across the country were considered.

JV/Varsity Basketball Registration Open

High School Basketball registration has begun for Denver area homeschoolers. The Denver Eagles 2010-2011 JV and Varsity Men’s and Women’s Basketball season begins at 7:00 p.m. on November 15th at the Gold Crown Foundation facilities (Harlan and Alameda in Lakewood.)

Practices will be held at Gold Crown Foundation facilities and games played throughout Denver and the Front Range. Season ending tournaments will include the state tournament in February and national tournaments in Omaha, NE (week-end regionals), and Springfield, MO (week-long nationals) in March.

The enrollment fee is $ 375.00* and there is a mandatory parents meeting at the first practice on the 15th. Register at the link to the left.

Regular Season Champions – Boys Varsity

Girls 18U were 4th in 3A at Nationals
Boys 18U were 8th in 3A at Nationals

*Teams participating in local or national tournaments outside FRCAA do so at an additional cost to each player. Tournament fundraisers are held during the season to help offset these additional costs.
