(Denver)- Wanting to help Open Door Ministries reach their goal of "embracing needy and broken people in urban Denver with the hearts and hands of Jesus," the Denver Eagles collected donations for Open Door Ministries Preschool at their annual Denver Eagles Alumni Basketball Game. In lieu of admission and gate fees, the Denver Eagles asked alumni, members, families, and fans to donate cash, sporting equipment, playground supplies, and necessities for Open Door Ministries Preschool. A wonderful $200 and several sporting goods, playground items, and preschool supplies were collected. On January 25, 2010, the Denver Eagles presented Open Door Ministries Preschool with these gifts. Thank you, Denver Eagles, for your generosity and blessings!
Pictured in the photo album to the right of this article is Shelly Mullen, Mr. Dean of Open Door Ministries Preschool, and Brent Mullen with some of the donated items.
