Summer is half over and it’s time to start thinking Denver Eagles Fall HS Baseball!!

Cost $250.00 Per player

18 games 9 double headers

Season runs Aug 19th to Oct. 29th.

Ages 14 to 18.

Practice will be Monday’s 4-6PM at Clement Park field C4 address 7306 W Bowles Ave, Littleton, CO 80123

Games, on Saturday, will be played in the Denver Metro Area.

Baseball Camp update…..

We will have Gary Wayne hosting one day Wednesday July 11th. Gary Wayne is a former professional baseball player Drafted by the Montreal Expos in the 4th round of the 1984 MLB amateur draft, Wayne would make his Major League Baseball debut with the Minnesota Twins on April 7, 1989, and appeared in his final game on June 3, 1994.

Wayne was a member of the inaugural Colorado Rockies team that began play in Major League Baseball in 1993.


Baseball Camp

When: July 10-12 (Tuesday-Thursday), 9:00AM-12:00PM

Where: Clement Park (tentative), at 7306 West Bowles Avenue in Littleton

Ages / Cost: 11-18 years, Boys … $75 per person, $175 family max

This is a great way to get a basic foundation of baseball how it is played mentally and physically.

Cross Country registration is now open. Please spread the word for others who may want to join us. We welcome those who want to use Cross Country to prepare for other sports or just improve their overall fitness. The course distance is 5K (3.1 miles).

Practice location: Recreation Center at Northridge, 8801 S Broadway, Highlands Ranch, CO 80126
Practice times: Tuesdays and Fridays 7:00-8:00 pm beginning Friday, August 3. Runners do not have to be at every practice, especially for those who live on the north side of town, and we may plan to meet some in Evergreen for practice at altitude.

Runners should be running on their own prior to this at least 4 days and 10-12 miles per week.

Meets will be in September and October, mostly on Saturdays. Some travel may be involved within 2 hours of Denver and carpooling will be encouraged.

Homeschool Cross Country Running Camp
Open to boys and girls – Junior High thru High School
May 29th and 31st
8am -10am

This is not a Denver Eagles sponsored camp – it is a great opportunity for all of our Denver Eagles families and their homeschool friends! Feel free to pass on to other Homeschoolers.

Day 1 – Davidson Mesa Open Space Park (S 80th St., Boulder – trail head near the dog park)
Day 2 – Louisville Community Park (955 Bella Vista Drive)

Camp will include: sports physiology, mental and race strategy, training theory…and FUN!!!

Each athlete will go home with a self-paced summer training program!

Coach Watson has been running for 20 years, coaching for 17 years and heads the LoCO FIT running club in Louisville. She is a Certified Level II USA Track and Field Coach – coaching teens and adults in distance running. Her club has between 70 and 150 runners throughout the year including elite Masters runners as well as state level high school girls from Peak to Peak, Monarch, and Fairview. She is a homeschooling mom who also has the privilege of coaching her husband.

She wants this to be a fun learning experience for all who attend! AND is very excited to work with Christian athletes, share her love of God and knowledge of running!

Participants should be able to run close to 3 miles (a run/walk will be available if needed)

Sunscreen
Light snack
Running shoes
Sunglasses/hat
Medical Release form (to be emailed out to those who RSVP)

Cost: $25 per athlete for the whole camp!!!!! This is an amazing opportunity to work with a coach of this level!!

Car pool: Nita Born will be driving from the C-470 and Hwy 285 area north with room for an additional 5 athletes.

Parents and siblings are welcome to come and walk the Open Space trail or play in the park – while the athletes attend camp.
