Homeschool Cross Country Running Camp
Open to boys and girls – Junior High thru High School
May 29th and 31st
This is not a Denver Eagles sponsored camp – it is a great opportunity for all of our Denver Eagles families and their homeschool friends! Feel free to pass on to other Homeschoolers.
Day 1 – Davidson Mesa Open Space Park (S 80th St., Boulder – trail head near the dog park)
Day 2 – Louisville Community Park (955 Bella Vista Drive)

Camp will include: sports physiology, mental and race strategy, training theory…and FUN!!!
Each athlete will go home with a self-paced summer training program!
Coach Watson has been running for 20 years, coaching for 17 years and heads the LoCO FIT running club in Louisville. She is a Certified Level II USA Track and Field Coach – coaching teens and adults in distance running. Her club has between 70 and 150 runners throughout the year including elite Masters runners as well as state level high school girls from Peak to Peak, Monarch, and Fairview. She is a homeschooling mom who also has the privilege of coaching her husband.
She wants this to be a fun learning experience for all who attend! AND is very excited to work with Christian athletes, share her love of God and knowledge of running!
Participants should be able to run close to 3 miles (a run/walk will be available if needed)
Bring: Water, water, water
Medical Release form (to be emailed out to those who RSVP)
Cost: $25 per athlete for the whole camp!!!!! This is an amazing opportunity to work with a coach of this level!!
Car pool: Nita Born will be driving from the C-470 and Hwy 285 area north with room for an additional 5 athletes.

Parents and siblings are welcome to come and walk the Open Space trail or play in the park – while the athletes attend camp.
